FIRM PARTNER REAPPOINTED TO FEDERAL JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 17, 2009) – The law firm of Dellecker, Wilson, King, McKenna & Ruffier, llp announced today that firm partner Brian T. Wilson has been reappointed to the statewide Federal Judicial Nominating Commission. He was first appointed to the Commission in October 2005 by U.S. Senator Mel Martinez.
The Commission provides recommendations for potential nominees to the Florida Federal District Courts. Its members are divided into geographic regions that correspond with the three divisions of U.S. District Courts in Florida. In addition to screening applicants and providing recommendations for District judges, the Commission also interviews and make recommendations for vacancies in the offices of United States Attorney and United States Marshall.
Wilson is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating the highest levels of skill and integrity, and board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Certification.
