ORANGE COUNTY MAYOR APPOINTS FIRM PARTNER TO THE
CENTRAL FLORIDA REGIONAL COMMISSION ON HOMELESSNESS
ORLANDO, Fla. (May 18, 2007) – Orange County Mayor Richard Crotty has appointed firm partner Brian Wilson to serve as a County representative on the Central Florida Regional Commission on Homelessness. Currently, Wilson is vice chair of the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, where he has served on the board of directors since 2004.
The Commission will assess the economic and social impacts of homelessness on the Central Florida region and prepare a cooperative plan to present to the elected boards of Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties and the City of Orlando. The final report is expected by January 2008.
Wilson is board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, a peer recognition of the highest level for skill and integrity. His practice includes personal injury, wrongful death, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, defective products, premises liability and insurance company bad faith.
